I was brought up in Wolfshagen, a little town in Hessen with around 6,000 residents close to Kassel.
I was already sketching in my early years, although I only started developing my skills according to my talent when I was 16. I soon determined that I cannot do a “normal job” like everyone else, for that, I painted hours a day, no matter if I like it or not. After graduating from middle school, I actually had to take care of something, but I did not, which led me to unemployment and had plenty of time to paint more. Back then, a friend told me that a friend of hers can show me how to tattoo, which I dreamt for a long time. In general, I was fascinated by the idea of having something on the skin forever, and it came to me of doing the same thing professionally. That was why I ordered a so-called “starter-set” on e-bay and was ready to go. Unfortunately, with the help from that tattoo artist, it did not work as I hoped and I was still at home, unemployed, but this time with tattoo equipment, so I used my free time to get around and I got better. After around a year, I finally got myself the opportunity to work in a tattoo studio in Kassel without any idea what I was getting into.
At the beginning, I tattooed nearly everything, then with the increasing inquiries, I had the chance to focus more on the things I like, such as black-and-grey and realistic tattoos. Around this time, Buena Vista Tattoo Club was opened and suddenly other styles were in demand. Finally, something new, inspiring tattoo art, different from what people knew shaped me personally. I of course started with coil machine and I hated it. With that in mind, I understood how machines should run and I discovered the Cheyenne
HAWK Spirit, which is nothing like what I experienced before and it was in fact pretty good! From that day on, I had no intention to go back to my old coil machine that gives me back pain. I could focus on working without having to fight against the machine. I remembered that I could suddenly have fun tattooing again. After being done working in Kassel, I took the opportunity and moved to Berlin, where I am still today and continue to grow.
Why I use Cheyenne
The main reason why I use Cheyenne products is my persuasion of maximum quality of tattoo art in my fashion, which also includes using the best and the right machine. I like standing in my clients’ shoes, they of course want the best results of my work with the best materials, because only the best is good enough. A tattoo lasts forever and is should be immortal! I do not know any other modules that provide a similar level of precision and reliability as Cheyenne does. The Cheyenne machines are 100% reliable and that’s the only thing that counts!
