It was in 1997, when I opened a tiny 15 mq studio in my small hometown of Grado, a small island in the North Adriatic Sea, Italy. Against all initial skepticism by everybody, foreseeing that I would close it down forever in less than 6 months; today I have opened a newer, bigger private studio in Grado, along with 5 other studios: Cervignano Del Friuli, Venice, Udine, Rorschach and Rapperswil (CH).
In each of my tattoos, I endeavour to push towards perfection in realism and thus I always look for new stimuli and techniques. I dedicate a lot of attention to the step of planning and artistic engineering of a tattoo, to the study of the photography and of each single detail and light, which might give me the opportunity to make a better tattoo than the previous one.
My compositions always start from real images, form photos, as I normally deal with realism. Certainly, putting things together also gives birth to emotions, which are sometimes passed on by the client him or herself, while some other times they are built together with the client, while under other circumstances, they arise inside of me.
Why I use Cheyenne
I have been using Cheyenne tattoo equipment for decennia and I will never change as Cheyenne is just the best! I currently use the Cheyenne
HAWK PEN and Cheyenne needles, with them, the tattoo outcome is always a guarantee, no matter what type of
cartridges you use. In realism you need all kinds of needles. I particularly like working with 7 round shaders.
