Felix Seele

In 2014, I spent all my money that I earned in my first convention and bought a HAWK Spirit in orange, which was my first Cheyenne. At the beginning, it was not easy because I do not trust new machines. But after a while, we felt in love and I just bought a HAWK Thunder for lines and dots. I don’t need anything else since then.

Style: Blackwork Lettering

I grew up in a small village near Erfurt, Germany and moved to Erfurt for studies in 2009. I started tattooing at home along with my studies in 2013, because it was my secret dream since I got my first tattoo. Later, I dropped out of my studies and started working in a shop as an apprentice. Two years later, I left the shop and moved to Jena, then started doing guest spots in Berlin; again, after two years, I moved to Berlin, in which I still live and own a shop called “Der Grimm” with an amazing team.

I specialize in dark lettering, blackwork, dark mandala, abstract style and dark neotraditional. I regularly visit LA, London, Milan for conventions, but I travel to a lot more places.

Why I use Cheyenne

In 2014, I spent all my money that I earned in my first convention and bought a HAWK Spirit in orange, which was my first Cheyenne. At the beginning, it was not easy because I do not trust new machines. But after a while, we felt in love and I just bought a HAWK Thunder for lines and dots. I don’t need anything else since then.

Cheyenne is perfect for me because I am not super interested in machines; for me it is more of a tool to tattoo. The handling support and everything was easy. And yes, the cartridges were revolutionary in the handling as well.

Cheyenne has everything. It is mainstream and underground at the same time and still the original. I use the PU II, HAWK Thunder and Spirit and only the safety cartridges. It helped me developing my style because of the simplicity and the sensitivity when using, which has become a part of my style. My clients also love how it feels to get tattooed with a Cheyenne machine. It is smoother, quitter, which creates a more chilled atmosphere.

I am more than happy to work and be sponsored by Cheyenne. It is the future, revolution and innovation at the same time.
