I specialize in horror and realism. My style developed out of my love for horror and special effects. I am super inspired by poster style art, notably Drew Struzan and Basil Gogos. I always loved their contrast and their color palettes, and I would definitely say it translates into my work. I have a deep love for film and directing and I believe that's what sets my characters apart from other portraits.

Style: Realistic Horror

I started tattooing in Philadelphia in the year 2000 and in that time a lot has changed. Not only tattoo styles and society's view on tattoos, but also the equipment. I started using Cheyenne 10 years ago because of it's innovative cartridge system. It saved me from having to change between 5 or 6 machines in order to do a very technically realistic tattoo.

Over the years I worked in many shops and also owned a previous shop that each came with a set of problems. In 2015 I opened The Seance Tattoo Parlor and I've finally been able to make my dream shop a reality. It's a culmination of all my creative ideas throughout the years, mixed with having a crew of talented, hardworking artists. Everyone who works there has their own creative style.

Why I use Cheyenne

I've been using the Cheyenne HAWK PEN since it came out and I think it's still my favorite machine. It's the perfect balance of power and softness. It's also comfortable and has taken some of the stress off of my hand. I highly suggest the HAWK PEN to anyone who has never tried a Cheyenne, it's definitely a game changer.
